Job Opening: Shop assistant (packing & shipping)

Godseye is currently seeking a shop assistant for packing & shipping. The shop assistant will aid in impeccable support of the continuation of safe, quality production of Godseye products and timely delivery to customers. Thus, supporting Natalie in continuing to envision and lead the next evolution of Godseye. Ideal candidates for this open position will be passionate about supporting sacred medicine and self-transformation through plants and natural oils and scents. The shop assistant will work closely with Natalie and the Godseye team to determine what the packing and shipping needs will be weekly/monthly.

  • Strong work ethic / maintains professionalism at all times

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be Familiar with the Godseye brand and offerings

  • Pack orders beautifully and with care

  • Ship orders: creating shipping labels and attaching them

  • Organize and put away deliveries of raw materials and packaging products.

  • Take inventory of packing and shipping materials

  • Clean and care for lab glassware

  • Fill and label  bottles with product

  • Sweeping, light cleaning, organizing, and beautifying the laboratory.

  • Break down cardboard boxes; Takeout trash and recycling

  • Occasionally drop off packages to ups or USPS

  • Occasionally deliver local wholesale orders

 

Must be able to:

  • Commit to 2 days of work each week consistently (agreed upon by manager and assistant)

  • Provide reliable transportation for themselves

  • Work in small-ish spaces

  • Refrain from the use of harsh-smelling laundry detergents or perfumes.

  • Enjoy natural scents and oils

  • Previous packing/shipping shop assist experience a +

 

Pay: DOE, Payment will be bi-weekly via check

Hours: This is a part-time position that totals 8-10 hours per work

Location: This position is in-person, on-site in Santa Rosa

Reports to:  Owner, Natalie Silva

Manages: Packing and Shipping, Shop clean up, and organization

Desired Start Date: ASAP
