Wild Heart was originally created in collaboration with my soul sister, Amanda Hunt (AmandaHuntJewelry.com) to accompany her now archived Wild Heart necklace.

Amanda and I met long before either of us knew what we were building. We were dancers first. Dreamers. Since around 2007, we have been supporting one another through our calling to make beauty in this world —through movement, entrepreneurship and the wild unfolding of becoming more and more of who we are.

When Godseye was born in 2017, Amanda was there. We shared many a booth at many a market. Together we shleped our treasures and all the very heavy wood and stone it needed to be displayed upon. Laughing and believing in each other the whole time.

And in many ways, Wild Heart became a celebration of the devotion that exists between women who witness one another becoming.

The kind of friendship that says:

"I see who you are."

"I see who you are becoming."

"And I will keep reminding you until you remember."

This perfume is an offering to that kind of love.

It is also an offering to one of Godseye's most beloved spirit aunties: Stevie Nicks.

The poet. The mystic. The Rock goddess The woman who chose devotion to her art, her spirit, and her own becoming over and over again.

When I imagine Wild Heart, I see Stevie alone in a moonlit cottage. A velvet shawl draped over her shoulders. Roses drying from the ceiling. Journals stacked beside the bed. Tea steaming from a handmade mug. Incense curling toward the rafters as lyrics arrive from somewhere beyond the veil.

I imagine a garden overflowing with roses, herbs, and wildflowers gathered beneath the moon.

I imagine a woman who has learned that self-love is not a feeling.

It is a practice.

A devotion. A promise. Wild Heart is a spell for remembering your beauty. A spell for trusting your intuition.

A spell for choosing yourself.

Again and again and again.
